When things get crazy Bible study always seems to be the thing that falls off the list first. But spending time reading and praying is the most important thing you can do each day.
So how do you set up a Bible Study routine and make the most of the time you have with YHWH (God)?
Set Aside Time Everyday
Even if you only have ten minutes to spare, take some time to sit down and read your Bible everyday. Try to schedule it for the same time everyday and don’t make any other plans during that time.
I usually do my Bible study at night before I go to bed, but some people prefer to do it in the mornings, or during lunch at work. When you do your Bible study is completely up to you.
A great way to keep yourself on track is to read a Proverbs a day. How it works, is you read one chapter of Proverbs everyday that corresponds with the date. So if it’s September 5th you would read Proverbs 5.
Another great way to stay on track is The One Year Bible which breaks the entire Bible down into 365 daily readings.
Reflect On What You’ve Read
Don’t just read and dash. Take time to reflect on what you’ve read. There are a couple of ways to do this.
One way to do this is by journaling. Write down anything thing that stuck out to you, any questions you have about the passage, or what the passage meant to you.
Another option is highlighting verses in you Bible and writing notes in the margins. I tend to do this a lot because it makes it easier to find specific verses when I need them.
Pray
After pray and talk to YHWH. Thank for the blessing in you life. Talk to Him about any worries or concerns you have.
Don’t worry about praying perfectly. Talk to him like you would an old friend. If you can’t think of anything to pray about, just tell Him about your day.
Final Thoughts
Time with our Savior is so important because just like any other relationship, you have to work on it for it to grow. After all, it is the most important relationship any of us will ever have.

Some good tips! I consider myself more of a spiritual person but I always make sure to take time out every day to be grateful.
