Before I ever even joined the book community, I was obsessed with bookish creators. Over the past few years I’ve started following a ton of them on several platforms.
Over time I’ve found several that I love and can always count on for inspiration, recommendations, and honest reviews. These are my favorite bookish creators.
1. Books and Jams
Krista’s YouTube channel was my first experience with the Christian side of Booktube. (I didn’t actually know there was one previously.)
What caught my eye with Books and Jams, is the fact that Krista loves Historical Fiction as much as I do. She often has interesting picks and she is always honest about what she does and doesn’t like.
Her reading vlogs are by far the best part of her channel because she gives updates on what she thinks about a book as she reads it.
2. Chantel Reads All Day
Chantel is a fun Booktuber with a love for the classics, Sci-fi, and just about everything in between.
Her channel has relaxed and fun atmosphere that makes her videos a joy to watch. She also has to two other channels focused on lifestyle and homeschooling respectively that are also wonderful.
3. Sharing Is Caring Book Blog
Run by Dawn LeGros, Sharing is Caring is a book blog that focuses on clean reads, especially those by lesser known authors.
I actually joined her Facebook group before I even knew there was blog. Dawn is awesome about engaging with the community and helping authors grow their platforms.
She is such a sweet person and genuinely loves helping authors.
On top of her blog, she is also a cover designer and shares her designs through Facebook and on her dedicated cover design website.
4. Paperbacks and Ponytails
Katie’s channel is actually still fairly new to me, but I already enjoy her videos. Like several others on this list, she is a Christian Booktuber.
I really enjoy her TBR videos the most. She always has great recommendations for cleans reads that are still fun and exciting. (She is also the reason I started reading the Timeless series.)
5. Reader Haven
When I was first learning how to blog, one of the best resources I found was Reader Haven. Taylor, the blogger behind Reader Haven, has lots of resources and posts dedicated to building your Bookstagram and how to start a book club.
Her tutorials were a huge help when I first started working on my Bookstagram.
6. Book Lover Amanda
Book Lover Amanda is another clean-read queen. Her Booktube channel is filled with so much positivity and I love it.
Amanda predominately reads Christian fiction and has so many great insights on to what to read. She reads a lot of romance, Cozy mysteries, and historical fiction and is really good at finding fun, feel-good books.
7. Always Booked
Run by fellow Midwesterner, Chloe, Always Booked is a Booktube channel that boasts a little of everything from children’s books to contemporary fiction.
Her hauls are some of my favorites because she always picks up so many different authors and genres. She is one of the most prolific readers I have ever seen and she encourages me to read more.
Final Thoughts
All of these creators bring something unique and beautiful to the table. These ladies inspire me as a reader and a blogger. They are a large part of the reason I do what I do.
I hope that they inspire you too.
